We take concerns about safety and wellbeing seriously and expect responsible conduct throughout our partnerships.
Our approach
Fortress Living CIC provides and manages accommodation; it is not a care provider. Even so, everyone involved in our work has a responsibility to act appropriately, recognise concerns and share information through the correct route.
We work with commissioning and professional partners to understand the safeguarding responsibilities that apply to each accommodation arrangement. Where a concern relates to an individual placed by an authority or another organisation, we will follow the agreed reporting and escalation arrangements without delay.
Raising a concern
If somebody is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services on 999. For a non-emergency concern connected with Fortress Living accommodation, contact us promptly:

Please share only the information needed to explain the concern. We will handle information carefully and share it where necessary to protect people or comply with legal obligations.
Professional referrals
Commissioners and professional partners should use any placement-specific safeguarding contacts and escalation routes already agreed, alongside notifying Fortress Living where the property or our service is relevant.
